Ahmann Doubek Real Estate was founded in Helena, Montana, by Josh Ahmann and Jake Doubek, two family-focused real estate professionals who set out to build a business that reflects their values at home and at work. They believe it’s possible to show up fully for both their families and their clients, delivering a high level of care and professionalism in everything they do.

With more than 30 years of combined experience in the local market, they bring a deep understanding of Helena and the surrounding communities, along with a shared commitment to guiding clients through every step of the buying and selling process. They take pride in creating a personal experience, knowing that strong client relationships are built through trust, communication, and consistency. They believe real estate is about more than transactions. It’s about relationships, trust, and being part of something bigger: community. Having both grown up in Helena, they take great pride in serving the place they call home and sharing it with their clients.

Josh lives with a deep appreciation for the outdoors. As a young boy, he fished the lakes and rivers and hunted the mountains near his childhood home. That way of life continues today, whether he’s chasing elk in the Big Belt Mountains or fly fishing the Missouri River. He values protecting these natural resources, sharing them with others, and fostering a sense of stewardship for the land. This perspective carries into all aspects of his life, especially in how he connects with clients and with his family. He and his wife, Katie, are raising their three daughters alongside three dogs and seven chickens. Together, they enjoy visiting Glacier National Park, camping, hiking, and searching for huckleberries.

Jake is a strong advocate for youth and local athletics. He serves on the Small Fry Football board, coaches youth sports, and is passionate about supporting local schools, where his wife teaches second grade. Known for connecting people, Jake enjoys bringing together those who care about Helena and want to see it thrive. Outside of work, you’ll often find him on the trails, camping with his family, or on the golf course. He and his wife, Brittany, are raising their three children and enjoy staying active and involved in the community, usually with their dog close by.

Josh and Jake understand the importance of home because they live it every day, and that perspective shapes how they serve their clients. Their goal is simple: to help people find not just a house, but a place to truly call home.
